(1) In the event of dismissal, suspension, absence or any other
impediment, the mayor shall be temporarily replaced by a deputy mayor in the order
of election and, in the absence of a deputy mayor, by a municipal councillor
designated in the order of the list.
(2) In the latter case, the council board may, within a maximum period of 8
(eight) days, designate one of its members to act as substitute.
