Where the conventional or judicial pledge or the preferential rights of the vendor of business
property is on letters patent, trade mark, service mark or trade name, designs and models and
other intellectual property rights or professional equipment, it shall, in addition to being
registered in the Trade and Personal Property Rights Register, be in conformity with the rules
of publicity prescribed for deeds transferring ownership of intellectual property rights and the
rules of this Uniform Act relating to the pledge of any equipment forming part of the business
property.
