SECTION 160

The conventional or judicial pledge may only be binding on third parties to the extent of and following the conditions provided for in articles 51 to 66 of this Uniform Act only if it is registered in the Trade Personal Property Rights Register. Provisional or final registration shall be done respectively after the decision authorizing the pledge and the decision validating it has become final. Where the subject of the pledge is a right registered in any of the registers governed by the regulations applicable in matters of intellectual property, the pledge shall in addition fulfill the requirements of publicity provided for by those regulations.
