SECTION 143

Subject to the special provisions relating to the law on commercial companies and the corporate persons concerned, a conventional or judicial pledge may only be binding on third parties to the extent and following the conditions provided for by articles 51 to 66 above if it is registered in the Trade and Personal Property Rights Register. The provisional or final registration shall be done respectively, after the decision authorizing the pledge and after the decision validating it has become final. Besides the aforementioned registration, a conventional or judicial pledge may be served ornotified on the commercial company or on the corporate person issuing the partnership rights and transferable securities or title-deeds acknowledging the partnership rights.
