The pledge shall be indivisible notwithstanding the possibility of sharing the debt between the
heirs of the debtor or those of the creditor.
As long as the whole debt is not fully paid any heir of the debtor who has paid his portion of the
said debt may not demand any portion of the collateral even where the said collateral may be
divisible by nature.
Any heir of the creditor who shall receive his portion of the debt may not return any part of the
collateral to the detriment of the co-heirs who shall not have been paid even where the said
collateral shall be divisible by nature.
