The contract of pledge shall be binding on third parties either by its registration in the Trade
and Personal Property Rights Register or by the handing over of the collateral to the pledgee-
creditor or to any third party agreed upon by the parties.
Where the pledge is regularly published the specific legatees or devisees of the settlor may not
be regarded as bona fide possessors and the pledgee-creditor may pursue the collateral in their
hands for the enforcement of his claim.
