Under pain of nullity the contract of pledge shall be in writing with the indication of the secured
debt, the quantity of assets given on pledge as well as their type and nature.
Unless otherwise agreed, where the pledge bears on an asset or a set of future assets the right of
the creditor on the collateral shall be exercised as soon as the settlor acquires ownership.
