(1) The election of Regional Executive Council members shall be
established by order of the Minister in charge of regional and local authorities.
(2) It may be the subject of an appeal for cancellation, in accordance with the
rules provided for by the laws in force for the cancellation of the election of regional
councillors.
(3) Where the election is cancelled or, for any other reason, one or more
members of the Regional Executive Council cease to perform his duties, the
Regional Assembly shall be convened to replace them within a period not exceeding
1 (one) month.
