SECTION 186

(1) The written statements of the witnesses shall not contain any interlineations. (2) Ally cancellation, alteration or inserted omission, shall be endorsed by the Examining Magistrate, the registrar, the witness and, where necessary, the requisitioned interpreter, and the defendant in case of a confrontation. (3) Failing this, the erasures, insertions or interlineations shall be null and void.
