SECTION 670

Where an extradition has been declared null and void the person extradited is not claimed back by the Government from which extradition was requested, he shall be released and may not be prosecuted or punished either for the offence in respect of which extradition was obtained or for any earlier offence, unless he was arrested in Cameroon more than thirty (30) days after the date on which it was lawfully possible for him to leave the national territory.
