Members shall be convened at the general meeting,by the chairman of the management
committee and, if absent, by a member of the management committee.
Where members represent at least a quarter of the shareholdersof the simplified cooperative,they
may demand the convening of the general meeting. In their request, they shall state the business
to include in the agenda of the forthcoming general meeting.
In addition, the competent authority or, failing that, the competent court, may in the case of
P. 69 of 110
emergency, or a member’s petition, appoint a representative responsible for convening a
meeting of the general meeting and setting the agenda.
