This law instituting the Criminal Procedure Code stipulates the ruIes which deal
particularIy with:
(a) the investigation of offences;
(b) the search and identification of offenders;
(c) the method of adducing evidence;
(d) the powers of those charged with prosecution;
(e) the organization, composition and jurisdiction of courts in criminal matters;
(f) verdict;
(g) sentencing;
(h) the setting aside of judgements in default and appeals;
(i) the rights of the parties;
(j) the methods of executing sentences;
