The resignation of the Regional Council President shall be forwarded to
the Minister in charge of local authorities by registered letter with acknowledgment of
receipt. It shall be final with effect from the date of acceptance by the Minister in
charge of local authorities or, in the absence of acknowledgment of receipt thereof,
within a period of no less than 1 (one) month after the dispatch of another registered
letter.
