SECTION 266

The party relying on a fundamental breach of the contract shall take all reasonable steps, having regard to the circumstances, to minimise loss, including any loss of profit resulting from such breach. Where he fails to do so, the party in default may ask for a reduction in damages equal to the amount of the loss which could have been avoided. Section 5 Exemption from liability
