Where the vendor asks to know whether the purchaser will accept the performance of his
obligations within a certain time limit and where the purchaser fails to reply within a reasonable
period of time, the vendor may perform his obligations within the time limit specified in his
request.
The purchaser may not, before the expiry of the said time limit, invoke any measure which is
incompatible with the performance of the vendor’s obligations.
