Acte uniforme relatif au droit commercial général › Title 3 › Chapter 3

SECTION 251

The purchaser may grant the vendor another time-limit of a reasonable duration to perform his obligations. The purchaser may not, before the expiry of such time limit, invoke any of the measures available to him where there is a breach of the contract unless he has received notification from the vendor of the latter’s unwillingness to perform his obligations within the time limit so granted. However, the purchaser shall not on that account lose the right to claim damages for the vendor’s delay in performing his obligations.
