(1) Committee decisions shall be taken by a simple majority of
votes cast.
(2) Voting in Committee shall be by show of hand, by standing
and sitting or through an electronic process. Only the election of office bearers
shall give rise to voting by secret ballot. In the event of a tie, the matter being
put to the vote shall not be adopted.
(3) Committee reports and opinions shall be adopted in
Committee prior to tabling before the Bureau of the National Assembly. They
shall be distributed to the Members of the National Assembly.
