SECTION 488

(1) The Registrar-in-Chief shall forward a copy of the documents specified in section 482 to the appellant's counsel or the Procureur General, where he is appellant, and shall inform him at the same time by any means with written proof, or by writ of a bailiff that he has a time-limit of thirty (30) days within which to file a memorandum of submissions in support of the appeal at the registry, otherwise the appeal will be foreclosed. (2) The time-limit fixed in the preceding subsection may be reduced by half, by an order of the President of the section seized.
