(1) During the period of notice, the employer and
the worker shall be bound to respect all the obligations which
each has assumed towards the other.
(2) For the purpose of seeking other employment, the worker
shall, during the period of notice, be allowed during each week
one day off (with full wages) which may be taken all at once or
one hour at a time as he may desire.
(3) Where the above obligations are not respected by one of the
parties, no period of notice shall be enforceable on the other
party. This provision shall be without prejudice to the right of the
injured party to claim damages.
