SECTION 140

(1) Members of the deliberative organ of a local authority shall, in the discharge of their duties, be entitled to: - reimbursement of expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties; - reimbursement of transport and subsistence expenses incurred during council sessions or committee meetings. (2) In addition to reimbursement of travel and subsistence expenses incurred, members of the committees set up within the deliberative organ of a local authority shall, on the occasion of their meetings, whatever the duration thereof, receive an allowance fixed by deliberation approved by the minister in charge of local authorities.
