The union board shall examine matters within its competence, in particular:
- the union's budget;
- the union's administrative and management accounts;
- the acquisition, disposal and exchange of the union's property;
- the union's action programmes;
- requests for intervention by unionized councils;
- membership of new councils;
- the management of a public enterprise or an inter-council public establishment.
