SECTION 28

1- Subject to the provisions of Article s 2 c), 15 paragraph 1, 24 paragraph 3 and 27 above, any stipulation which would directly or indirectly derogate from the provisions of this Uniform Act shall be null and void. The nullity of such a stipulation shall not involve the nullity of the other provisions of the contract. 2- In particular, a benefit of insurance in favour of the carrier or any other similar clause, or any clause shifting the burden of proof shall be null and void.
