SECTION 20

1- The exemptions and limits of liability provided for in this Uniform Act shall apply to any action brought against the carrier for damage resulting from loss of or damage to the goods or from a delay in delivery, whether the action is based on contractual or extra-contractual liability. 2- Where the action for loss, damage or delay is brought against a person for whom the carrier is responsible under Article 16 paragraph 4 above, such person may also avail himself of the exemptions and limits of liability provided for the carrier in this Uniform Act.
