SECTION 12

If the arbitration agreement is silent on the time-limit, the mission of the arbitrators shall not exceed six months from the date on which the last of the arbitrators accepted his mission. The legal or agreed time-limit may be extended, either by agreement of the parties, or by the competent judge in the State Party at the request of one of the parties, or by the arbitral tribunal itself.
