SECTION 492

The memorandum of submissions in support of the appeal shall, under pain of foreclosure, be filed in the registry within the prescribed time-limit. Mention of this fact shall be made in a special register which shall be dated and signed by the Registrar-in-Chief and countersigned by the person who filed the memorandum. A receipt shall be issued to him. Non-compliance with the prescribed time-limit shall constitute not only a professional fault, but also a fault liable to give rise to an award of damages against the defaulting counsel.
