(1) Up to the limit of the percentage of wages not liable to attachment as provided for by the laws and regulations in force wage claims shall be preferred claims having priority over all other general or special or preferential claims.
(2) The priority of claims shall extend to compensation due for breach of contract and to the damages referred to in Section 39.
