SECTION 24

(1) Irrespective of the place where the contract is made and the place of residence of either party, every contract of employment which is to be performed in Cameroon shall be governed by the provisions of this law. (2) The above rule shall apply in case of partial performance in Cameroon of a contract initially made under other legislation. It shall not apply, however, to a worker who is sent on secondment for a period not exceeding 6 (six) months. (3) Subject to the provisions of section 27, the existence of the contract may be recorded in whatever manner the contracting parties find convenient. Any form of evidence may be adduced in proof of its existence. (4) Written contracts shall be exempted from all stamp and registration fees. II - Conclusion and performance of contracts
