Absent the statutory clauses relating to an amicable liquidation of the cooperative, its
liquidation shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions consistent
withArticles 203 to 241 of the Uniform Act on Commercial Companies and Economic Interest
Grouping.
Formalities that have to be carried out at the Register of Cooperatives shall be those provided
for by the Register of Commerce and Securities and the provisions mentioned in paragraph 1
above.
The liquidation surplus shall be given to other cooperatives governed by the provisions of this
Uniform Act or institutions or organizations working for the promotion of the cooperative
movement.
