After deliberation, the Council of Ministers of the State Parties present and voting, in accordance
with the provisions of the Treaty of 17 October 1993 on the Organization for the Harmonization
of Business Law in Africa, hereby adopts unanimously this Uniform Act.
This Uniform Act shall be published in the Official Gazette of OHADA and of the Contracting
States. It shall enter into force on 1 January 1998.
