SECTION 221

Where the vendor is bound to ensure the transportation of goods, he shall enter into a contract to that effect and ensure that the goods are transported to the place agreed upon with the purchaser by appropriate means of transport and according to the customs and usages of the trade. Where the vendor is not bound to take out a transport insurance policy himself, he shall, at the purchaser’s request, provide him with all available information necessary for the conclusion of such an insurance contract.
