SECTION 159

(1) When the complaint does not reside within the jurisdiction of the court where the preliminary inquiry is held, he shall choose an address for service therein by preparing and depositing a document to that effect at the registry of the said court. (2) Where he fails to choose his address for service, he shall not be heard to say that he had no knowledge of any documents which he ought to have been served with, as provided for by the law.
