P. 14 of 110 Application for membership to the cooperative shall be sent to the administrativecommittee thereof. It shall be written, dated and signed by the applicant. The management committee or the board of directors may make the admission of the member effective on the date of the application or on a later date, not exceeding three months from the date of receipt of the application. Membership shall be approved by the general meeting. The member status shall be recorded in an act from the administrativecommittee of the cooperative in which are stated the identity, address, signature or fingerprintsof the member and a reference to the acceptance by the latter of legal, regulatory, and statutory provisions governing the cooperative.
