Any debt owed by a third party may be assigned to a national or foreign legal person as security
for a loan it may granting the course of its normal banking and credit professional operations.
The non-assignability of the debt shall not be relied upon by the debtor-assignor against the
assignee where it arises from a contract and in the course of the exercise of the profession of the
debtor-assignor or where the debt has a direct link with one of his professional activities even
if the said activity is not the debtor’s main activity.
