The sale of the property shall be by public auction either at the bar of the competent court or in
the office of the approved notary public.
The auction shall be in successive bids which shall progressively increase by the persons wishing
to acquire the property. The property shall be adjudicated in favour of the highest bidder.
The bids shall be made either through a counsel or by the bidders themselves; the same counsel
may represent several bidders, where the bidders present themselves jointly.
