SECTION 37

The dissolution of a corporate person for any reason whatsoever shall be declared within a period of one month at the Registry of the competent court where the corporate person is registered for the purpose of having such dissolution recorded in the Trade and Personal Property Rights Register. The same shall apply in the case of nullity of a company, with effect from the date on which the decision relating to the nullity is pronounced. The liquidator shall request the corporate person’s removal from the Register within one month of completion of the liquidation operations. Where the request for removal is not made within the prescribed deadline, the Registry of the competent court before whom the matter is referred shall, of its own motion or at the request of any interested party, and upon the decision of said court, remove the company from the register. Notice of every cancellation from the Register shall be published in the newspaper authorized to publish legal notices.
