SECTION 137 — Indulgence against the State

Any public servant or public employee who grants exemption from any fee, due, duty, tax or contribution, or who sells at a lesser price than that prescribed, any property of the State, of a cooperative, or of any authority or corporation either public or subject to the administrative control of the State, or in which the State holds, whether directly or not, the majority of the shares, shall be punished with imprisonment for from 2 (two) to 10 (ten) years and with fine of from CFAF 20 000 (twenty thousand) to CFAF 2 000 000 (two million).
