SECTION 151 — Persistent Neglect

Today
(1) Any public servant or private sector employee whose persistent neglect or obstruction is the cause of procrastination, delay or confusion, or who persistently refrains from performing any duty of his office shall be punished with imprisonment for from 3 (three) months to 2 (two) years and with fine of from CFAF 50 000 (fifty thousand) to CFAF 500 000 (five hundred thousand). (2) Proceedings may be instituted only upon the prior complaint of his superior.
