(1) The President of the National Assembly shall open sittings,
conduct debates, ensure compliance with the Standing Orders and maintain
order. He may, at any time, suspend or adjourn a sitting.
(2) Before adjourning a sitting, the President of the National
Assembly shall indicate the date and agenda of the next sitting insofar as they
have been settled by the Chairmen's Conference.
