SECTION 44

(1) The President of the Republic may, at his request, address the National Assembly in accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of Constitution. (2) He may also send to the National Assembly messages to be read by the Prime Minister or another Member of Government. (3) Members of Government shall attend sittings where the agenda includes matters falling within their competence. Such members of 22 Government may be represented by another Member of Government in cases of unavoidable absence. (4) Members of Government may be assisted by their close collaborators.
