(1) No person shall be eligible for election where, by virtue of his
own act, he has placed himself in a position of dependency on an alien, a foreign
organization, power or State or is an intelligence agent thereof.
(2) On application of the relevant government service or any
interested person(s), such ineligibility shall be established by the Constitutional
Council.
