SECTION 336

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 335, the following shall be admissible in evidence: a) any statement made in the course of a judicial proceeding by a person who cannot be heard at subsequent proceedings either because fie is deceased or because of insufficient time to get him to appear before the court, the excessive expenditure involved, or the impossibility of finding him; b) statement made in the course of judicial police investigations.
