SECTION 241

(1) Before any person referred to under section 238 visits the defendant, he may first be searched in order to avoid the bringing into the prison of any weapon or object which is likely to disturb public order or to facilitate the escape of the defendant. (2) The search shall be carried out of the office of the Superintendent of the prison in a respectful manner by a person of the same sex and in the absence of the third party. (3) After the search, he shall be immediately taken to meet the defendant in a room reserved for that purpose.
