SECTION 88 — Weekly rest shall be compulsory. It shall consist of at least 24 (twenty-four) consecutive hours each week.

Such rest shall fall as a rule on Sundays and may under no circumstances be replaced by a compensatory allowance. (2) An order by the minister in charge of labour, issued after consultation with the National Labour Advisory Board, shall prescribe the procedure for applying the preceding sub-section.
