The proposed merger shall not be submitted to the meetings of debenture holders of the acquiring
company.
However, the general meeting of debenture holders may authorize the representatives of the
general body of the debenture holders to oppose the merger under the conditions and effects
provided for in Articles 679 and 680 of this Uniform Act.
