The provisions of this Book shall apply to formalities or applications provided
for in this uniform Act,byanyotheruniform Act orbyanyother regulations.
Suchapplicationsorformalities maybemadeelectronically provided that they can be sent and
received in the same way by their recipients.
However, the provisions of thisBook shall not apply to electronic exchanges or transmissions
that are subject to special legislation.
