SECTION 73

(1) In Committee, Members of the National Assembly may also give proxies in any of the cases listed in Section 71 above. However, they may only do so to another member of the same Committee. Notification of such proxies shall be given to the Chairperson of the Committee. (2) No Committee member may receive more than one proxy. No Committee member may designate more than one member to vote on his behalf at any given meeting. (3) The giver of the proxy shall give to the holder of the said proxy a signed authorization which, while upholding the procedure for submitting proxies to the Chairperson of the Committee, shall give the holder of the proxy either a general mandate for the duration of the giver's absence or a mandate limited to a particular purpose. (4) Notifications of proxies shall be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Committee, if possible at the beginning of the meeting, or at the latest, before voting begins.
