SECTION 527

(1) The Supreme Court may quash a decision in part or in whole. (2) Where the whole judgment is quashed, the case and the parties shall be placed in the same position in which they were before the judgment so quashed was delivered. In this case, the Supreme Court shall examine and determine the whole matter on the merits. (3) Where the judgment appealed against is partially quashed, the Supreme Court shall decide only on the issues quashed.
