As soon as the treaty enters into force, membership shall be open to all Member States of the
O.A.U. which are not signatory to the Treaty. Membership shall also open to any other state
which is a non-Member State of the O.A.U. invited to adhere to it, upon the mutual agreement
of all the States Parties.
With regard to any adhering State, the Treaty and the Uniform Acts enacted prior to its adherence
shall come into force sixty days after the deposit of the instrument of adhesion.
