SECTION 52

The present Treaty shall be ratified by the States Parties in accordance with the procedure laid down by their respective constitutions. The present Treaty shall enter into force sixty days after the date of deposit of the seventh instrument of ratification. However, if the date of the deposit of the instrument is earlier than the hundred and eightieth day that follows the day of signing the Treaty, the Treaty shall enter into force the two hundred and fortieth day following the day of signing. With regard to any State Party which shall deposit the instrument of ratification following the above, the Treaty and the Uniform Acts adopted before the ratification, shall enter into force sixty days after the date of the said deposit.
