SECTION 39

The President of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration shall appoint the Registrar-In- Chief on the recommendation of the Court from among the Registrars-in-Chief, who have served in that capacity for at least fifteen years, and nominated by States Parties. Upon the proposal of the Registrar-In-Chief, the President shall employ other personnel of the Court. The Registrar-in-Chief shall serve as the Secretary of the Court.
